Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Deepak Khadka has instructed to work by keeping people's problems at the center. In the meeting of the Ministry of Energy and the senior staff under it, he gave instructions to work with the problems of the people as the energy and irrigation sectors are directly connected with the people.
Minister Khadka said, 'This ministry is directly connected with the people in the fields of electricity, irrigation, water and weather etc., you should work so that the people feel the work of this ministry.'
Minister Khadka said that since the energy and irrigation sector plays an important role in the development of the country, it should be performed honestly to achieve the target set by the government. He instructed the employees to work confidently as the two big political parties have now formed a government and the working environment is favorable.
Minister of State for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Purna Bahadur (Kancharam) Tamang instructed the staff to speed up the projects whose resources have been secured. He mentioned that the projects damaged by the flood should be rebuilt.
Irrigation Secretary of the Ministry, Sarita Dawadi said that there is a shortfall in the achievement of the target set by the Ministry, and said that projects with guaranteed resources should be moved forward quickly.
Secretary of Water and Energy Commission Secretariat Madhu Prasad Vetuwal said that mutual cooperation is necessary for the development of the energy sector. He said that in the next six months, we should work to fulfill the target set by the government.
