In the Kathmandu District Court, Ravi Lamichhane reiterated that he had no complicity in the process of bringing the co-operative's funds to Gorkha Media. He said, "The signature and fingerprints on the photocopy of the petition shown to me by Missil Sanglan are mine." But when I joined the company and when I left the company, I neither invested nor took the money for the shares.

In his statement, he stated that the investor of Gorkha Media Network is Gitendra Babu Rai and said that he could not issue the check of the company without the instructions of the investor. In the statement he said,  "Chavilal Joshi had gone abroad most of the time and Gitendrababu Rai was very busy." It was easy for them to get my signature when I was in the station,' Ravi added in the statement, 'I only signed the checks as a facilitator.' He said, 'The loan he took from whom and where he took it from is not a matter of my knowledge.' Since it belongs to Gitendra, he has said that he does not have to think about it.
