A meeting of the opposition parties held at the office of the parliamentary party of the CPN Maoist center in Singhdarbar has decided to strongly oppose the government's introduction of an ordinance not to convene the parliament. On Wednesday morning, the opposition parties, who were protesting against the fact that the government is going to amend the law to increase the 'threshold' and amend the laws through an ordinance by keeping the parliament closed, gathered together.

According to Hitraj Pandey, the chief whip of the Maoist Center, the leaders of the opposition parties have united on the issue of strongly opposing the government's passing of the ordinance by circumventing the parliament.

According to Pandey, in the meeting, while the bill on financial responsibility in the parliament was being discussed, it was discussed that the government is playing a game of weakening the parliament by bringing this bill through an ordinance. He said, 'If the government does not convene the parliament, then there was also a discussion about demanding a special session of the parliament.'  The leaders have said that they will make a strategy against the government in the

meeting. Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of CPN-S Madhav Kumar Nepal, Acting Chairman of RSVP DP Aryal, Wise Tamang of RPP, Prabhu Sah, Mahendra Rai Yadav, Narayankaji Shrestha and other leaders participated in the meeting.
