Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that after a few years, if the height of Nepal's mountains is measured, it will be found to have increased. He said that the mountains are rising due to the collision of the Indian plate and the Eurasia plate within the Himalayan range of Nepal.
He said this at the 27th Earthquake Safety Day program held at BP Koirala Memorial Science Museum in Kirtipur on Wednesday. "There is tremendous energy inside our earth," he said, "if we measure the mountains after some time, the height of the mountains will increase."
Similarly, he said that the month of January is the month of remembrance. He said that today he remembers the day of the great earthquake on January 2, 1990.
In addition, Prime Minister Oli insisted on building an earthquake-resistant house that will not collapse quickly and an earthquake-resistant structure.
On the occasion of Earthquake Day, the National Root Ceremony program organized by Kirtipur Municipality was organized. This day has been celebrated since 2055.
