The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA) has said that it will take action if any member of its party is found involved in assaulting senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi.
Acting Spokesperson Manish Jha mentioned that he got information about the incident of assault on senior advocate Tripathi while leaving the court and said that action will be taken if any member of RSVP is found to be involved. "Certainly, this kind of behavior is not acceptable for a political party that believes in the rule of law, sound political practice and justice," Acting Spokesperson Jha said in a statement, "This matter has been brought to the attention of the relevant disciplinary department of the National Independent Party and in that case, if any member of the party Necessary action will be taken if involvement is found.'
Tripathi was assaulted on Wednesday when he was returning from arguing against RSVP president Ravi Lamichhane in the Swarnalakshmi Cooperative fraud case. After that, he was taken to a safe place by the police. Advocate Tripathi argued on behalf of Swarnalakshmi co-op victims in the Kathmandu District Court.
