Former Congress General Minister Shashank Koirala has said that the government has failed to instill hope in the people. In a meeting with the leading workers of the Congress held in Ghorahi on Sunday, Koirala said that although there was enthusiasm among the people when the Congress and UML formed the government together, there was disappointment among the people after six months.
Stating that it is ironic to run the government through ordinances, he accused the responsible officials of the Congress of being witnesses to running the government through ordinances by deceiving the parliament.
'The government with a large party could not work as much as it should have instilled hope in the people. After the expected party reached the government and did not do as it said, the disappointment has increased among the people,' he said.
