After taking a statement from Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party, who has been charged with organized fraud, he was finally asked by Kathmandu District Court Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari - Do you have anything else to say?

In response, Lamichhane gave a brief answer - 'I have not cheated anyone, I am innocent, let me be acquitted.'' The case was filed on January 21. During the statement, the indictment was read to him. And, immediately after that, it was asked, 'So Jaheri Vyhora ke kaso  Yes ? Open it up ?'

In response, Lamichhane said that he had filed a case for political vendetta and had falsely accused him.

The single bench of the district court judge has ordered to send Lamichhane to judicial custody on Sunday after taking the statement.

Lamichhane appeared at the Kathmandu District Court at 9:30 am on Sunday, the third day after he was released from custody after paying the bail by the order of Kaski District Court. After the

statement, his lawyers requested to start the custody debate on Sunday. They demanded that Lamichhane should be handed over to him so that if the debate on Thunchek could not be concluded on Sunday, he would appear on Monday himself. But due to lack of time, the judge ordered that the hearing be held from Monday and kept in judicial custody. It was 5:50 pm when the statement started at 10:00 am in the presence of the judge officer.

After taking the statement, the judge ordered to keep Lamichhane in judicial custody to appear in the court at 10 am on Monday, said Srestedar Ramu Sharma . "The statement is over on Sunday," he said, "now his case will be heard regularly from Monday."

According to the order of the District Court, Lamichhane has been kept in District Police Complex Bhadrakali Kathmandu.
