The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Friday night has decided to recommend to the President for the issuance of three ordinances. Some Nepal Act Amendment Ordinances, Ordinances to Amend Land Laws and Ordinances to Amend Investment Laws have been recommended to the President.
Prime Minister Oli has informed through social media that the ordinance has been recommended. Yesterday's Council of Ministers meeting has recommended a law to the President to facilitate the repatriation of IT earnings through an ordinance. We believe that this will develop IT as a foreign exchange earning industry,' wrote the Prime Minister .
According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, three ordinances have been passed by the Council of Ministers along with amendments to some Nepal Acts. In which an ordinance has been brought to make legal provisions including that non-resident Nepalese citizens and their family members will get a free visa if they stay in Nepal for 10 years .
To make a legal arrangement to introduce citizen apps in service delivery, to increase the mandatory retirement age of workers from 58 to 60 years, to simplify the performance of the work of the Government of Nepal, the official who has to make a decision should make a decision according to the date specified in the law and in all other cases, within 7 days at most. The legal arrangement to be made is through an ordinance.
