Lamichhane will appear at the Kathmandu Police Complex today

Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of RSVP and former home minister, who was released from custody on Thursday evening by the order of the Kaski District Court, will appear at the Kathmandu police complex on Friday. Lamichhane, who was released from custody, stayed in Pokhara last night.

On Thursday evening, the acting chairman of RSVP, Dol Prasad Aryal, was handed over by the police to come to Kathmandu on Friday and appear at the police premises. Lamichhane was released from custody after paying a bail of 65 lakhs, and on behalf of his family, the Kaski police handed him over to the Acting Chairman of RSVP, Aryal, on behalf of his wife Nikita Paudel.

District Police Complex Kathmandu issued an arrest warrant and prosecuted the case in Swarnalakshmi Cooperative fraud case. Kaski Police Spokesperson DSP Vasant Kumar Sharma said that a letter was received from the Kathmandu Police Complex to present Lamichhane and Chabilal Joshi and both of them have been handed over to Aryal to appear till Friday.

An arrest warrant has been issued against Joshi in Swarnalakshmi Cooperative fraud and the case is going on in Kathmandu District Court . He has been assigned to Aryal in the Rohbar of Rochak Joshi's son. After reaching the Kathmandu police complex on Friday, Lamichhane and Joshi will appear in the Kathmandu District Court.

Out of the 7 people who were previously in the custody of the Kaski police, 6 including Lamichhane and Joshi have been released after posting the bail as requested by the court. Joshi 88 lakhs, Lamichhane 65 lakhs, Ram Bahadur Khanal 15 lakhs, Meena Gurung 5 lakhs, Aarti Gurung 5 lakhs and Krishna Bahadur Gurung were released after paying bail of 1 lakh rupees.

Leela was sent to Kaski Jail after she did not go through the process of bail, according to Rajan Khanal, Srestedar of Kaski District Court. Khanal informed that the victim's family will be released from prison after the bail set by the court is paid. The court has demanded Rs 37 lakh as bail from the latter.

A bank guarantee has been placed in the case of Joshi and Lamichhane for the bail amount. Srestedar Khanal said that they were released after Prabhu Bank employees attended and took over. The remaining 4 people were released after paying cash. Lamichhane and Joshi were released after health check on Thursday. After being released from prison, Lamichhane responded that he was very grateful to the court saying that there were many battles left.

Lamichhane spent the night in Pokhara on Thursday after he was released from prison. "He will go to Kathmandu on Friday in a vehicle arranged by the party," he said. Soon after the court order to release Lamichhane on bail, RSVP workers celebrated happily at Rashtra Bank Chowk and Komagane Park in Pokhara.
