Maoist President Pushpa Kamal Dahal has commented that those who are trying to finish Maoist have not allowed the work related to transitional justice to be completed. He said that there is a situation where pressure should be created even from the streets to bring the peace process to a conclusion.

On the occasion of the 26th commemoration day of Rajendra Dhakal, who was disappeared by the state, at the 'Peace Process and Question of Publicizing Disappeared Citizens' program held in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Dahal said that it was difficult to complete the transitional justice process due to political reasons.

There is no reason to be confused, this is the last attempt to defeat the Maoists. "I did not say this out of passion or emotion," he said He said that he is trying to end the peace process.

"I am of the opinion that it should be settled as a 12-point agreement or a comprehensive peace agreement," he said, "for this, it is necessary for the victims to raise their voices repeatedly." Now it seems that the road will be the last option. If we increase the pressure, it will be finished quickly.'

Dahal mentioned that all political parties should be honest to complete the peace process and said that he will discuss this matter with Congress and UML.  In the

program, former minister and UML leader Agni Kharel said that the government and his party are sincere in concluding the peace process. Former Minister Gobind Bandi emphasized that an environment should be created in which the victims of the conflict are confident, not only looking at the legal aspects, but also to conclude the transitional justice.

President of Nepal Bar Association Gopalkrishna Ghimire said that if there is a delay in finalizing the issues related to transitional justice, the country's image will be tarnished internationally. The families of conflict victims present at the program said that they have suffered more because they have not received justice even for 18 years.
