Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli has said that there is no group within the party anymore and all friends are the full ranks of the current UML.
In the eighth meeting of the UML Central Committee, after the discussion on the political report, President Oli, while giving his closing speech, asked that there are no former groups such as the former Malayalees, former Maoists or 10 Points within the party, so they should not look for such former groups.
'There are no former groups in UML anymore. We are not looking for the previous group, let's look for the current UML. Let's find today's prosperous UML," President Oli said, "We are not status quo. We are revolutionary. Our goal is socialism, prosperous Nepal, happy Nepali. We should be able to do effective work for the country and the country by fighting as one against the internal and external sieges on us.
Healthy and constructive criticism is acceptable within the party, but factionalism and anarchy in the name of democracy will never be acceptable, President Oli said. He told the country with the goal of stability and prosperity of UML and Congress. The present government, which was formed in cooperation, expressed the commitment to do all possible work for the country and the people. Oli said that he was working keeping in mind the goal and destination of socialism as he was not in the 'cable' power journey from election to election.
President Oli called upon the party leaders and workers to increase the use of social media and publicize the good works done. He reminded that the government has always stuck to non-aligned foreign policy and balanced neighborhood policy and said that we should also benefit from the development of neighboring countries. He said that the Nepalese land included in the country's political map will be taken back.
The meeting of the UML Central Committee, which started on January 21, has ended by passing the political report and organizational reform plan.
