Maheshwar Dhakal, Co-Secretary of the Ministry of Forests and Environment and Coordinator of the Everest Dialogue, informed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Forests and Environment and the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers are preparing the concept paper for the dialogue.

We are sitting and discussing with various experts and policy makers. The initial phase of the dialogue concept paper has been prepared,' he said, 'We will finalize the concept paper by the next week.' After the government approves the concept paper, it will be managed by the advisory committee, the organizing committee and the secretariat. He said that this dialogue will continue as a historic and successful dialogue for Nepal and it will be established as a milestone. The purpose of organizing the

dialogue is for Nepal to play a leading role for climate justice and to establish climate justice in Nepal through climate science. According to the Ministry of Forestry, it is estimated that it will take four to five months for its preparation.

'Climate change is a global problem and its solution must be done together with the international community,' said Dhakal, the co-secretary of the ministry, 'so it is a multifaceted problem and the Everest dialogue is necessary to solve it together in a holistic, integrated manner in the international community  The

dialogue draws the attention of the international community as a victim of climate change and the impact of climate change on the mountainous region despite low carbon emissions. And has taken the goal of making a common effort to address it .
