The masks made in Syangja prison will be exported to China. An organization in China has demanded about 3,000 mudhas from the district jail. According to the same demand, Dinesh Sharma, Jailer on behalf of District Jail Syangja, informed that 1,500 maunds are going to be exported to China immediately.

"The time to make mudha is reduced," Jailer Sharma said, "immediately we will export 1500 mudha for the first time". After that, we will send the remaining 1500 mudha. The Chinese organization will come to the prison to collect the mudha.

There are currently 147 prisoners including 6 women in the district jail. Jailer Sharma said that 135 male inmates had made mudha. There are only 6 women. "They don't make mudha," he said, "only male friends make mudha". 4/5 people make food and snacks daily, while the remaining 135 people make mudha from morning to evening. A committee has been formed within the district jail. The said committee provides the materials needed to make the mudha.

Jailer Sharma said that a committee was formed with prisoners and other employees to calculate the expenses, materials and income involved in making mudha.

The said committee determines the price of mudha . From the purchase of the goods to the determination of the price and after the sale, the income is collected by forming a fund. The amount collected in the fund will be distributed to the prisoners.

The price of mudha to be exported to China has been set at 400 rupees per gota. The same type of wrap is made in the same size . Choya is made by lengthening the wrap and is tied wide. According to the prison administration, the prison was built as requested by China.
