Ex-Vice President Bhim Rawal, who was expelled from UML on the charge of activities against the party's interests, asked 74 questions to President and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli saying that he had made 'arbitrary, despotic and dictatorial' decisions.

He has also accused Oli of taking a policy of prohibition because he competed against Oli in the 10th Congress held in November 2068.

In a press conference on Wednesday, exactly one week after the expulsion of UML, leader Rawal said that despite his repeated attempts to cooperate with party chairman Oli, he failed. He says that since there was no reason for UML to ask him for an explanation on November 4, he did not answer and there is no legal basis for taking action against him.

After criticizing the UML's decision to build the party headquarters on donation from controversial businessman Meen Bahadur Gurung, the UML Secretariat asked Rawal, Standing Committee Member Vinda Pandey and Central Member Ushakiran Timsena for an explanation on the same day.

Leader Rawal has accused Oli of making a pact with the Maoists for power interests before the 2074 election, splitting the CPN after conflicting interests, causing instability by dissolving the parliament, dividing the UML, banning leaders who have different opinions, compromising on nationality issues, etc. The 31-page written statement presented by Rawal focuses on Oli's criticism and questioning, refutation of the allegations against him.

Rawal's 74 questions to Prime Minister Oli

Rawal has accused UML President Oli of urging Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel's son Naveen and Supreme Court Justice Kumar Regmi not to prosecute the case of Lalita Niwas land.

'Isn't it because of you that the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority decided not to file a case because Naveen Paudel, son of General Secretary (then CPN General Secretary) Bishnu Prasad Paudel and Supreme Court Judge Kumar Regmi agreed to return the land of Lalita Niwas to the government? He said.

Ram Bahadur Thapa's son Prateek, who was the Home Minister in Oli's previous cabinet, and his security advisor Indrajit Rai were also involved in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees. Rawal has also asked for an answer.

'When you were the prime minister, what is your opinion about the news that a task force was formed to prepare a report again on June 29, 2076 and at that time the mandate of the task force fell into the hands of gangs and 875 people with alleged missing names were asked to fill in a form and collected Rs 10 to 15 lakh from each. ?'' he asked, 'You have said publicly that you know the fake Bhutanese refugee gang is active since 2012. Being the president of a responsible party, why did you not demand action from the government? Why didn't you take action when he became the prime minister later?

Leader Rawal also accused Oli of being an opportunist who is left and right for the sake of power. At the press conference, leader Rawal has announced that he will build "patriotic alternative political power". He says that he will create a political force that stands for national independence, self-respect and prosperity. He informed that the party will be formed after running the Matrubhumi Awakening Campaign inside and outside the country.
