Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa has said that it has become a weapon to accuse corruption and expose competitors. He has proposed that there should be an open discussion in the parliamentary committee on which file of the corruption case should be opened.
In Thursday's meeting of the State Order and Good Governance Committee under the House of Representatives, General Minister Thapa said that one should not talk about corruption just to accuse.
'Became a weapon used to expose corruption,' He said, 'Let's call another ex-prime minister too, let's discuss in this committee which file of corruption cases will be opened.'
Thapa said that Giribandhu Jagga, Shera Darbar, Cantonment should be prepared and discussed in the parliamentary committee on which scandal file to open. "After going to the government, we opened your file, so let's discuss it in the parliamentary committee," said Thapa.
Thapa also said that when the bill is presented in the parliament, it is forgotten who is the ruling party or the opposition party.
Thapa said that the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission should be given time to complete the corruption investigation within a certain time.
Thapa said that the assets of former prime ministers and people in public positions should be investigated by making laws. "Let's make the law, let's investigate all public positions from the former prime minister to the present," said Thapa.
