Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed serious objection to the propaganda done by linking the party with the land of Shera Durbar in Nuwakot. Addressing the vigilance meeting held at Gauriganj in Jhapa on Monday, he said that such sponsored propaganda was done to weaken the agenda raised by the party for good governance.

President Dahal said that efforts are being made to link the Maoist party and leadership to the Shera Darbar land by connecting with the person who left the party 12-15 years ago, and termed such propaganda as unnecessary and planned conspiracy. He added that he and his party will always support bringing the public property under the government, adding, "If the land of Shera Darbar is public, it should be brought under the government immediately, we will fully support it." 

Chairman Dahal challenged the government and said, "I want to say with a challenge, if the land of Sheradarbar belongs to the government, bring it to the name of the government immediately." But I also want to say don't show dishonesty in politics by playing false politics.

CIB has already written to the government and authorities for action after it was found that 164 ropani land of the palace built in Sherabensi, Nuwakot during the time of Prithvi Narayan Shah was registered in the name of a private company. It has become public that Vikesh Shrestha's family dramatically took over the ownership of the company opened by members of the royal family to protect land over the demarcation. Maoist leader Shrestha Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal was his personal secretary when he was Prime Minister in 2065.
