Dornath Aryal, the Nepali ambassador to Oman, has met with the Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technology, Syed Bin Hamud Bin Syed Al Mawali. Ambassador Aryal met Minister Mawali on Saturday.

On the occasion of the meeting, direct air flights between Nepal and Oman, cooperation in the field of information technology and other overall issues of bilateral interest were discussed, according to the Nepali Embassy in Muscat.

Ambassador Aryal has said that because air travel and other transport management in Oman is under the jurisdiction of this ministry, direct air flights have been requested in Nepal.  

High officials of the ministry and second secretary of the embassy were also present in the meeting.
