British Ambassador to Nepal Rob Fenn and his wife Julia Fenn celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary at Janaki Temple in Janakpur.
A swastika reading was also performed on the wedding anniversary of the ambassador couple which was celebrated at the Janaki temple premises on Saturday morning.
Ambassador Fen couple wore Nepalese clothes. The marriage anniversary was attended by Mahant Ram Roshan Das, heir of Janaki Temple, Speaker of Madhesh Pradesh Ramchandra Mandal and Chief of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City Manoj Sah. Ambassador Fen said that Janki Temple is a symbol of love, faith and trust, so they celebrated their wedding anniversary there.
The federal government has taken a policy to make Janakpur a marriage destination. Britain's ambassador Fen responded that by adopting the same policy of the Nepal government, they celebrated their wedding anniversary at Janaki temple in Janakpur.
