Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba has informed the minister that in the near future, the government is going to organize the Everest Dialogue with national and international participation on climate change.
At the review program of the 29th World Climate Conference organized by the Ministry of Forests and Environment on Thursday, Rana said that necessary preparations are being made for the Everest dialogue. On that occasion, he mentioned that Nepal has fulfilled its international commitments in the field of climate.
'Latest studies have shown that 80 percent of the snow in the mountains will melt by the end of this century, thinking about this, we should start solving the climate crisis, and the way to reach the goal of climate justice should also be good,' she said .
In the COP-29 conference, she mentioned that the developed countries have committed to provide 300 billion US dollars annually to the less developed countries in exchange for carbon emissions.

Minister Rana also informed about Nepal's important participation and speech in the hearing on the responsibility of nations in climate change held at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands.
