On Thursday, the police released three people who were arrested for gang-raping a 22-year-old woman of Jahda Rural Municipality 3 on Tuesday. The Morang police said that they have extended the deadline in three cases against the three accused and started the investigation.

The woman, who went to defecate on Tuesday morning, was rescued in the afternoon after she was found in a nearby bamboo grove with her face mask pulled and her hands and feet tied and in an unconscious state.

20-year-old Mohammad Ramzan of Morang Kathari rural municipality-2, 19-year-old Sunil Kumar Sah and 18-year-old Mohammad Gulzar, who lives in Araria, Bihar state, India, and currently works in a garage in Kathari-2, were arrested by the police  Proceedings in the case of abduction, kidnapping and forced killing by keeping the body hostage have been initiated.  Morong  Police spokesperson DSP Ved Prakash Joshi informed.
