A ship from Sichuan arrived in Pokhara with 126 passengers

A Sichuan Airlines flight carrying 126 passengers from Chengdu, China landed at Pokhara International Airport on Thursday morning. This is Sichuan's third charter flight to Pokhara. A narrow body ship will come with a Chinese team of 126 people who will participate in the second international dragon boat race on December 14 and 15 at Phewa Lake.

On January 10, Pokhara Airport is approaching two years since it was inaugurated. So far, 7 chartered and 3 other international flights have taken place during that period. Earlier there were charter flights from China, Bhutan and India. When the airport was inaugurated on January 1, 2023, a Himalayan Airlines flight flew from Kathmandu to Pokhara on an international standard.
