KU inquiry into initiation of failed students

Kathmandu University (KU) is going to investigate the matter of the name of the student who dropped out of class and failed the exam and was included in the grace list and got the academic degree from the convocation ceremony. According to KU, a 3-member inquiry committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Hrishikesh Wagle, Dean of the School of Law, for the investigation.

Panna Thapa, pre-examination controller and Birendra Bahadur Lakh, co-director of pre-examination are members of the committee. KU Spokesperson Ekkumaya Pun informed that a committee has been formed by the Executive Council as there is a need to conduct a serious investigation and study to prevent such weaknesses in the future. The committee has been given a week's time to submit the report.

Spokesperson Pun has issued a statement and said that the names of 8 students who have not completed their degree and who have left their studies in the middle of the school of management have been added to the grace list. Kantipur published
