Sudorpaschim's captain Dipendra Singh Airi won the toss and scored 184 runs after losing 9 wickets in the decision to bat first.

After Jaib and Vinod added 117 runs in 12 overs in the first wicket, Sudurpaschim made a strong score. When Jaib completed his half-century in 33 balls, Sudurpaschim made an aggressive start by scoring 97 runs without loss in the first 10 overs . In the 13th over, Jaib was given life for 62 runs. Sher Malla's shot at long on by Kishore Mahato was caught by Sher Malla.

In the same over, Kishore dismissed Jaib for 69 runs. Jaib hit 8 fours and 2 sixes in 43 balls. In the next over, Lalit Rajwanshi bowled another opener, Vinod Bhandari. Vinod scored 41 runs off 31 balls with 1 four and 3 sixes.

Kishore and Mohsin took 3 wickets each. Kishore spent 25 runs in 3 overs and Mohsin spent 40 runs in 4 overs. Although the batting of the top line of the Far West dominated the other bowlers of Janakpur, Lalit took 1 wicket with 1 maiden in 4 overs and spent only 15 runs. Nisam took 1 wicket after spending 44 runs in 4 overs.

Both teams have not changed any players from the team they played in the last match. Sudurpaschim defeated Janakpur in Qualifier 1 and Janakpur defeated Karnali Yaks in Qualifier 2 and reached the final.

Sudoor Paschim defeated Janakpur twice in this competition and reached the final. Sudurpaschim won by 72 runs over Janakpur in the round robin league match. Even though Sudurpaschim was stopped at a score of 123-9, Janakpur, who came in reply, was bowled out for 51 runs in 12.1 overs. This score was the lowest score of NPL.

Janakpur was easily defeated by 8 wickets in Qualifier 1 and reached the Sudurpaschim final. After stopping Janakpur with a score of 139-9, Sudurpaschim reached the final by scoring 141 runs with 9 balls ahead of veteran opener Vinod Bhandari's unbeaten 58.

Janakpur won the Qualifier 2 over Karnali Yaks by 2 wickets and confirmed the final meeting with Sudurpaschim. Jimmy Nisam, the all-rounder from New Zealand, took Janakpur to the final with an all-round performance. After he took 2 wickets, Karnali, who batted first, lost 9 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and scored 118 runs. After Nisam scored 45 runs in 17 balls, Janakpur completed the target one over ahead.

Sudurpaschim won 7 out of 8 games while reaching the final. Janakpur won 6 out of 9 matches and lost 3 out of which two defeats were against Sudurpaschim.
