According to the order of the Supreme Court, medical professional Durga Prasai has been released. He was in the Central Police Investigation Bureau on charges of organized crime and criminal misappropriation.

CIB spokesperson SP Hovindra Bogti said that he was left in charge of his son Nirajan. According to

spokesperson Bogti, he has been called for an appearance on Sunday. Only after that, a decision will be made on how many days he should come to appear. 

The Supreme Court ordered on Thursday that the Prasai in police custody should be brought to court within 24 hours while releasing the Prasai. Accordingly, the police brought him to court on Friday.

Prasai's son Nirajan filed a petition in the Supreme Court for the release of his father, a cancer patient who needs to take medicine and complete rest. Hearing on the same petition, the Supreme Court issued an order in the name of the police to bring Prasai within 24 hours on Thursday.
