Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has said that anyone who commits a crime will be brought under the law. Pointing to former Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane, he said that whoever has committed a crime will be investigated according to the law.

Inaugurating the newly constructed building of Palpa Rampur area administration office in Rampur on Wednesday, he said, "No one should be called a big or small person to be brought under the scope of research". Anyone can be brought under investigation.'

Raman Bahadur Thapa, Mayor of Rampur Municipality, said that the citizens of Rampur Municipality, Nisdi and Purvkhola will not have to travel to the headquarters which is 70 kilometers away when passports and national identity cards will be distributed.
