Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that people's representatives and employees who receive salaries from state funds should be servants of the people. Addressing the 106th Foundation Day of Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality, Prime Minister Oli said that no one should have the tendency to be the boss.
"All those who receive salary from the state treasury are servants of the people, they are servants of the nation. I am a representative of the people. There should be a feeling that I am a servant of the country and the people, I will not leave the work of improving the country and the people. There should not be a tendency to be the boss whether it is a public representative or an employee. Don't be proud. When pride enters the brain, nothing good can enter,' said Prime Minister Oli.
Similarly, Prime Minister Oli praised the work of Lalitpur city police. Thanking the Lalitpur City Police for being honored in the program, Prime Minister Oli said that people should never be hurt. "Lalitpur city police came on a jeep like a stranger, stopped the car, threw a sledgehammer, whistling, spreading panic, throwing baskets, doing other things, throwing vegetables and tomatoes of the poor. I would like to thank Lalitpur Nagar Police . You are not synonymous with terror. People should feel safe from you. People should think that our protectors have come when they see you. It is not a situation where we have to run,' said Prime Minister Oli.
Similarly, Prime Minister Oli also said that the government is presented as a parent. He said, 'A person who can eat does not mean that he cannot die. The government has become such a government that there is a government for those who cannot. Not just to collect taxes like before. All levels of government are made to serve the people.'
