Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh has said that the work of Nepal's first model headquarters will proceed immediately.
Singh said this while speaking at a program organized in Kawasoti, the headquarters of Purvi Nawalparasi on Saturday. As all the procedures have been completed, he has claimed that after discussing this with the Forest Minister, the order to cut the trees will come immediately.
2076 Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli laid the foundation stone of the model headquarters in East Nawalparasi on 7th Baisakh, but the work is stalled due to lack of permission to cut trees. For this purpose, the government has brought the land of 186 bigha forest area in Kawasoti Municipality-3 under its control. The foundation stone pillar is also dilapidated. 552 trees will be cut in the model headquarters. For that, the process has been advanced in the forest department.
Intensive Urban and Building Construction Project Bharatpur has allocated 80 crores for two building construction contracts including the district administration office. Chowdhury Construction Rautahat, which got the building contract, is facing problems in proceeding with the work due to lack of tree felling. Deputy Prime Minister Sihan participated in the Golden Festival program of Shiva Model Secondary School in Kawasoti on Saturday. On that occasion, he said that future education should be focused on self-employment and employment courses with emphasis on practical education.
