By reviewing the local level by-elections, the parties have started making voter-centric programs. The ruling Congress and UML have decided to launch a political campaign. Opposition Maoists, Integrated Socialists and Janata Samajwadi Nepal have also concluded on Friday in their respective meetings that they will make an action plan to connect directly with the people.
In the Maoist Standing Committee meeting, the provincial in-charges stated that by-elections have added enthusiasm and held the view that a program should be held to directly connect with the people. Koshi Pradesh Incharge Haribol Gajurel, Leelamani Pokharel from Madhesh, Agni Sapkota from Wagmati, Dinanath Sharma from Gandaki, Chakrapani Khanal from Lumbini, Kali Bahadur Mall from Karnali, Girirajmani Pokharel in charge from Sudurpaschim submitted a review report of the by-election results.
The result of the by-election is increasing excitement. It has been proven correct that the party competes alone," said spokesperson Agni Sapkota, "Congress-UML has practiced a two-party system, the by-elections have broken it." The meeting has decided to continue the vigilance meeting against the government. Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that it is clear that the by-election result has not broken the trust in the party and the next program will be decided on that basis. The
meeting has also decided to create an environment for the entry of Maoists from various parties. "It has been decided to give proper responsibility to the people who joined the Maoists," said Kamala Roka, a member of the standing committee, "for that, the relevant committee will do its homework. The meeting has also decided to postpone the meeting of the Central Committee of Maoists, which was supposed to be held on December 2, to December 21.
The standing committee meeting of the United Samajwadi Party emphasized on the movement for party building, noting that it got disappointing results in the by-elections. Ghanshyam Bhusal, General Secretary of United Samajwadi Party, submitted a written proposal and emphasized that the party should be built from the movement. He has mentioned in his political proposal that the organization has become weaker after the June convention. He suggested that agitation is the way to improve because of the growing frustration and confusion in the party.
There are many kinds of problems in the party now. Tendencies such as frustration, desperation, confusion, escape, passivity have been seen,'' he wrote, 'which some of them are trying to get close to UML, trying to get close to Maoist and generally confused tendencies have been seen. Only a clear political plan of party building can solve this. "Alliances demonize revolutionary parties ideologically," he mentioned. Bhusal insists that a movement program should be made as the left unity is not possible immediately.
The central executive meeting of Jaspa Nepal has reviewed the 'Janata Sang Jaspa' campaign and by-elections. After the party split under the leadership of Ashok Rai, the Congress continued the voter-centric campaign by electing Upendra Yadav as the president and forming a new central committee. Concluding that the 'Janata with Jaspa' campaign has connected with the voters, the meeting has decided to expand it further.
Jaspa Nepal spokesperson Manish Suman said that the four-month campaign of 'Janata Sang Jaspa' has taken the party to the local level. "We are reviewing whether to continue this campaign or to change its format," he said. He said that although the results of the by-elections of the party were satisfactory in Madhesh province, it was seen as weak in other provinces, so they will decide the program of political campaign.
