The Kantipur branch of the Nepal Journalist Federation has selected a new committee under the leadership of Suraj Kunwar of Kantipur Dainik. The election held on Friday has elected Budhisagar Marasini as vice president, Lakshmi Bhandari as women vice president and Upendraraj Pandey as secretary.

Similarly, Kul Prasad Bhattarai has been elected as joint secretary, Raju Chaudhary has been elected as joint secretary and Yagya Banjade has been elected as treasurer. Similarly, Aarti Baral, Laxminarayan Maharjan, Shubharatna Shakya, Prithviram Shrestha, Ramkrishna Shrestha, Lekhnath Pant and Rajkumar Paudel have been elected as working committee members.

Similarly, the branch has selected Anil Giri, Suresh Raj Neupane and Ganga BC as members of the Central Council, which is the highest body of the federation. Similarly, Roshan Sanwa, Janakraj Sapkota, Swaroopraj Acharya and Bhumishwar Poudel have been elected to the provincial council.
