In the second match of Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Thursday, Kathmandu Gurkhaz presented a target of 102 runs for victory against Janakpur Bolts.

After winning the toss and deciding to bat first, Kathmandu lost all wickets in 19.3 overs and scored 101 runs. 

Gerhard Erasmus scored the most 20 runs for Kathmandu. In the process, he also hit 2 fours. Apart from captain Karan KC's 19 and Stephen Eskinazi's 17 runs, no other player could score double-digit runs.

For Kathmandu, Shahab Alam and Michael Levitt scored 8/8 each, Rashid Khan scored 7, Prateek Shrestha scored 6, Bhim Sarki scored 4 and Dan Douthwaite scored 1. In this match, Kathmandu got 11 extra runs. 

Lalit Rajvanshi and Sher Malla took 3/3 wickets for Janakpur. Similarly, Mohammad Mohsin took 2 wickets, Arniko Yadav and Kishore Mahato took 1 wicket each. Now Janakpur Bolts is batting in response.
