Bhattarai's question: Why does the Nepalese government not speak when Israel is committing genocide on Palestine?

Chairman of Nepal Samajwadi Party and former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has expressed his displeasure that the government has not clarified its views on the Israel-Palestine war. On Monday, Bhattarai, the president of the inauguration of the 'Countrywide Signature Campaign Against Israeli Genocide on Palestinians' at Ratna Park in Kathmandu, said that Israel has committed genocide on Palestine.

"In the 21st century, Israel has created genocide on Palestine just as it is now. The hospital was bombed. The school was bombed. In the Gaza area, the Palestinian citizens have been massacred and the area has been evacuated. Such a brutal massacre in the 21st century is a matter of shame for everyone. Although we are few, we are still living people in Nepal. We are afraid to speak for truth and justice,' said Bhattarai.

Bhattarai says that even after dividing the current state of Israel into two parts by dividing it into two parts, it is serious.

He said that it was wrong for Nepal to remain neutral in the voting at the United Nations and that Nepal should vote in favor of truth and justice. 'Nepal remained neutral in the voting at the United Nations. Our government representative remained silent. If we cannot stand for truth and justice, what is the meaning of being human, what is the meaning of being Nepalese. Therefore, I urge the Nepal government to be serious,' he said.

Referring to the state of Nepal always standing for peace, Bhattarai said, 'We are always raising our voice for the liberation of the Palestinian people. Where Israel is now is actually Palestine. Palestine is the homeland of the people. There, the actions of various capitalist powers established a Jewish state, took another's land and established a country other than Israel, and have worked to evict the Palestinians. That is unfair.

Former Prime Minister Bhattarai also said that 'two state solution' is the only solution to Israel-Palestine conflict. "...Let's make two states, Israel for the Jews and Palestine for the Muslims and Palestine for the tribals, instead of complying with the agreement, now they are trying to kill Palestine itself, there can be no worse crime than this. We have started a voice against it. You have to stand firm on it. Why doesn't the government speak?,' asked Bhattarai.

14 months after the start of the Israel-Palestine war, the leaders including the former prime minister started the signature campaign from Monday (today).
