Why does the Communist leader visit China?

The visits of the leaders of the Communist Party of Nepal to China are increasing. In the last three months alone, more than a dozen leaders of UML, Maoist, and Unified Socialists have visited China.

While Prime Minister and UML President KP Sharma Oli was on an official visit to China, former Prime Minister and senior leader of United Socialist Party Jhalnath Khanal, senior vice president of Maoist Narayan Kaji Shrestha were in China. A team led by UML Politburo member Khimlal Bhattarai also went to China on Thursday.

Khanal, a senior leader of the United Socialist Party, went to participate in the 'China Understanding' seminar organized by the CPC in Guangzhou. He interacted with the senior leaders of CPC there and expressed his views on the establishment of socialist society and its development.

"I thought about the reform of the socialist society and its impact," he said. Senior Vice Chairman of Maoist Shrestha flew to China on Wednesday to address the seminar on the development of South Asia to be held in Shanghai.

UML Senior Vice President Ishwar Pokharel paid a high-level visit on the invitation of CPC in the first week of November. He said that during the visit, the future relationship between UML and CPC was discussed with the director of CPC foreign department.

The Pokharel-led team consisted of 15 people including UML Secretary Lekhraj Bhatt, Standing Committee Member Gorakh Bogti, Foreign Department Member Dipendra Shrestha, Central Member Mejakan Devkota, Sarita Bhusal, Shanti Dhakal, Koshi Province Committee Secretary Rajkumar Bhandari. UML has formally bid farewell to its leader's team for a visit to China. It seems that UML views the leaders' visit to China with importance.

Nepalese leaders' visits to China were stopped for about two years during the Corona epidemic. After the epidemic subsided, the communist leaders from here are visiting one after another. CPC has been maintaining fraternal relations with the Communist Party of Nepal.

CPC welcomed the coalition government of UML and Maoists last December. But that alliance lasted only 6 months. UML-Maoist coalition government remained in the government last June at the invitation of CPC, a team led by UML deputy general secretary Vishnu Rimal visited China for 10 days. UML President KP Sharma Oli briefed and instructed the 29-member team during the

tour. At that time, the CPC leaders congratulated the party for forming the government even though it could not come together. But the alliance was broken when Atoli was still in China.

During the visit to China, the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) has always given the same message to the communist leaders of Nepal - it is better if the Communists of Nepal get together. The leaders of CPC have asked the leaders of Nepal that 'Why can't the communist parties of Nepal get along?'

According to Khanal, a senior leader of the United Socialist Party, during this year's visit as well, the leaders of the CPC asked him why the Communist Party of Nepal is splitting and why there is no unity. Senior Vice President of UML Pokharel also said that the good wishes of Nepal's communists came from China.

said that he expressed his opinion about the dispute between the Communists of Nepal. Agniprasad Sapkota, the vice-chairman and spokesman of the Maoist Center who visited China in the last week of October, says that it is natural to express wishes for the unity of the communist parties of Nepal.

Mahesh Mask, a political analyst and Nepal's former ambassador to China, says that there are some reasons why China wants the communist powers here to come together.

'They understand that CPC has overcome great difficulties to come here because there is only one communist party,' he said Maske said that he gave.

China has also been inviting the leaders of the Non-Communist Party Congress, National Independent Party, Janmaat Party and others to visit . When UML and Maoists united to form CPN, CPC held a virtual workshop with leaders including President Pushpa Kamal Dahal and senior leader Ishwar Pokharel.

When Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Nepal in the last week of October 2076, senior leaders of CPN and CPC discussed Xi's ideology. Nepalese leaders have discussed 'democracy with Chinese characteristics' during their visit to China.
