Goods worth about 70 million rupees have been lost from the central branch of Nepal Electricity Authority located at Hetaunda sub-metropolitan city-5 Bhairav Road. It was found that the goods were lost during the dispute.

Buddhakumar Karki, the then head of Jinsi branch of Hetaunda, while delivering the goods to the current chief Ramesh Parajuli, lost the goods as per the records. The incident has been made public.

For more than a decade, Karki worked as the head of Jinsi Branch . After removing him from Jinsi branch and making Ramesh Parajuli the head, the items appear in the records while negotiating the items but  In reality, Nepal Electricity Authority formed an investigation committee 18 months ago after the goods were not found. The then chief Karki claimed before the inquiry committee that 'the goods were sent to other areas, but the documents did not come, so it appears to have been lost'.

The investigation committee gave time but Karki could not show the goods  . Due to the fact that the said committee could not give concrete suggestions to the Authority, the Electricity Authority formed a 3-member investigation committee under the coordination of Navraj Ojha, Head of Wagmati Province Electricity Authority Office.

The committee has submitted a report to the authority 2 weeks ago after taking a statement from Buddhakumar Karki along with the on-site study and investigation . According to the report, two types of insulators, PCV cables and other items worth Rs. 7 crore have been lost. The said goods or its equivalent value of the then Ginsi branch  The committee asked the authority to collect from Pramkhu Karki. The report with opinion has been submitted. After the disappearance of the electronic goods registered from the Procurement Management Division of the Electricity Authority to the Central Engineering Management Branch in Hetouda due to the negligence of the staff, the authority has formed an inquiry committee at the central level.

Karki, then head of Jinsi branch, is still working as an employee at Jinsi branch in Hetaunda. He has not been attending the office regularly since last May.   There has been a fire in Jinsi branch twice in 2 years . But how much damage was done in the fire was not made public.  Jitendra Kumar Jha, head of the procurement management division of the authority, said that the investigation committee had given a report on missing goods worth seven crores of rupees.
