On Thursday, the police arrested a person who made calls to various agencies from the police/administration saying that he was the head of Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar. Karan Singh Bista, 26 years old of Bhumeshwar Rural Municipality-7 of Baitadi, was arrested from Kathmandu, said the PA of the Home Minister.

Senior Superintendent of Police Sanuram Bhattarai, head of the Valley Crime Investigation Office, informed that Bista has been arrested and investigation has been started. Senior Superintendent of Police Bhattarai informed that Bishta, who was cheating by claiming to be a fake PA, was arrested from Dhumwarahi and informed that legal action has been taken.

Similarly, the Home Minister's Secretariat was also taking information in a subtle way after the issue of fake PA came to the Secretariat. The arrest was made at the request of the secretariat after the fake PA started making phone calls with unnecessary pressure. The home minister's secretariat has also asked people to be alert from people calling saying they are PA/consultants in various areas.
