Chitwan's Sahara multi-purpose cooperative society savers are protesting. The victim protested when he was being interviewed by Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the National Independent Party and former home minister, at the district police office, Chitwan, on the charge of co-operative fraud.
The victims have requested the government to take initiative to return the money saved in the cooperative. Similarly, GB Rai, Ravi Lamichhane and others are protesting under a banner that says 'return 65 crores that went to Gorkha media'.
The victims have also demanded the government to arrest GB Rai immediately. During the protest in support of Lamichhane outside the district police office, Chitwan, the victims also demonstrated.
