The counting of votes for the vice president of Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality of Rukum East is underway. In Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality, the candidate of the Maoist Center has twice the lead of the joint candidates of the ruling UML and Congress.

According to the Election Commission, the candidate of the Maoist Center, Narpura Budha, has received 3,161 votes till 2 pm on Monday.

Congress candidate Kesh Kumari Tulachan has received 1 thousand 554 votes. The Maoist candidate has made a difference of more than the total votes of the candidate of the ruling coalition. The difference between them is 1 thousand 607. 

Congress candidate Tulachan is a central member of UML's Women's Organization. After the alliance between UML and Congress, UML leader Tulachan became a candidate with the Congress symbol.
