There will be a reduction in the number of high-ranking officials of the state at the international airport when going to and returning from the President, Vice-President, Prime Minister and other very special and special (VVIP) foreign visits.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has amended the 'Management of Security of Special and Distinguished Persons (First Amendment) Procedures, 2081' and reduced the number of persons present at the international airport to greet special and distinguished persons during their foreign visits and welcome them back from abroad. 

When the President, Vice President and Prime Minister go on a foreign visit, it has been arranged that the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Speaker of the National Assembly will not have to go to the international airport for farewell and welcome from now on. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the procedure has been amended to organize the welcoming and farewell programs of individuals during their foreign visits in a way that is free of crowding and convenient.

Now when the President goes on a foreign visit and returns from a foreign visit, the Vice President, Prime Minister, Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Chief of Army Staff, Secretary of the President's Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Inspector General of Nepal Police and Armed Police, Head of National Investigation Department and Only the Etiquette Commissioner will be allowed to attend the special room of the international airport. 

Earlier, the Speaker, National Assembly Speaker, all ministers, parliamentarians, secretaries, officials of security agencies and others used to go to the airport.

Similarly, when the Vice President goes on a foreign visit and returns home, it is mentioned that only the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, Chief of Army Staff, Secretary of the Vice President's Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chief of Etiquette and the head of the foreign mission invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be allowed to enter the special room of the international airport. &nbsp ;

With the implementation of this procedure by the Ministry of Home Affairs, it is said that the security challenges from the road to the international airport will be reduced when highly specialized and special people travel abroad and return home.
