Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that because meditation is mandatory at the place where Buddha was born, an international auditorium with a capacity of 5,000 people has been built in Lumbini. He said that after the construction of the hall, it will be possible to hold international conferences and meetings.

When he first became the Prime Minister, when he came to Lumbini on Buddha Jayanti in 2073, Huri recalled that he blew up the tent of the event venue and immediately built a temporary hall that could hold 3,000 people. 

When he became the Prime Minister for the second time, he said that in 2074, he started the construction by allocating the budget for the construction of an international seminar hall that could accommodate 5,000 people. "The hall is being built in the right location," he said, "where there is Buddha, there must be meditation." So this hall is fine.'

In the 20th anniversary and third convocation ceremony of Lumbini Baiddha University organized on Friday, Baldeioli said that Lumbini is not only the birthplace of Buddha but also the center of Buddhist philosophy. He said that since we are at the source of Buddhist philosophy, the university should focus on its expansion. He devoted himself to following the teachings of the Buddha.
