While preparations are being made for Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's visit to China, UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has put forward nine questions related to geopolitical issues related to neighboring countries.

Oli, who is also UML president,  While public comments are being made about the upcoming visit to China and the strained relations with India, General Secretary Pokhre put forward some questions.

He forwarded his views on social media   Why and under whose sponsorship is conspiratorial propaganda against NCP (UML) and its leadership? He has questioned saying  .

Pokharel's 9 questions are: 

1. Why and under whose sponsorship is conspiratorial propaganda against CPN (UML) and its leadership?

2. Is it a crime for CPN (UML) to take a stand in favor of independence, self-respect and national interest and publish a map including the lost territory of Nepal?

3. For the development and prosperity of Nepal, is it wrong to advance mega projects, advance plans for tunnels, railways and ships?

4. Is it wrong to take concessional loan assistance from neighboring friendly countries for the development of Nepal?

5. To change Nepal from a landlocked country to a landlocked country, is it wrong to make a trade and transport agreement with the northern neighbor China?

6. Is it wrong to ensure India's right to use more ports as an alternative to India's Calcutta port?

7. Is it wrong for Nepal to demand a favorable air route with India for Bhairahawa Gautam Budh International Airport?

8. Is it wrong for Nepal to demand equal treatment as an independent nation?

9. Is it wrong to deploy subsidized loan assistance for the development and prosperity of the nation?

General Secretary Pokharel said that if it is wrong to do this, the opposition of CPN (UML) will be justified  If not, he has appealed to support the good work he has done to build the country.
