Minister of Communications and Information Technology Prithvisubba Gurung, who is also the spokesperson of the Government of Nepal, said that no qualification is required to become a minister in Nepal. He said that after winning the election, he will be qualified to become a minister if the leader likes him.
Minister Gurung said that there is no practice or legal system in Nepal that requires any qualification for running the ministry in the ceremony of distribution of special film workers identity card held in Kathmandu on Wednesday. 'Being a minister in our Nepal does not require any qualifications. After you (voters) win, it will be enough. There is nothing that requires so much qualification, experience, ability to run that ministry . After winning the election, it will be done after the party and the leader like it . It is because our various fields are in disarray that it has not got the right character,' Gurung said, 'I always see people who do not understand the 'B' of sports becoming sports ministers. People who do not understand forests are becoming forest ministers. It seems that I also fall into the same category . I don't understand much of this communication .'
