Congress spokesperson and former foreign minister Prakashsharan Mahat has said that during Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's visit to China, it would be appropriate to give the commitments China has been making for a long time in the form of grants.Talking about the Prime Minister's visit, he mentioned that it would be good to give Nepal as per the commitment made annually.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is making an official visit to China from 17 to 21 December. Homework is currently going on in Nepal regarding this visit.
'Nepali Congress is clear . We have already said that we will take the grant to BRI . Given the state of our economy, the grant will be accepted. China has been making annual commitments to Nepal for a long time, the same is true even when the previous commitments are given under BRI," former foreign minister Mahat said to Kantipur.
