Prime Minister KP Oli has said that the process of investigation against former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane has started only after the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee recommended the name for action.
In the last session of the Kantipur Conclave 2024 organized by the Kantipur Media Group, in the 'Conference with the Prime Minister' session conducted by the editor-in-chief Umesh Chauhan, Oli mentioned that Lamichhane, who is also the chairman of the National Independent Party, did not even suspect that he had cheated the cooperative at the beginning.
'What is the belief that he has done so much in the cooperative, there was no suspicion . He used to talk as if he had washed three times in the washing machine,' said Oli, 'but the cooperative investigation committee asked four people to investigate.'
