Chairman of CPN Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that Nepal wants to learn a lot from the development of modern China. In a meeting with the Chinese Communist Party delegation visiting Nepal at his residence in Khumaltar, he said that Nepal should learn from China's development.

Expressing his gratitude to the Chinese government, Chinese Communist Party and General Secretary Xi Jinping for the readiness shown for the development of Nepal, Dahal reminded that his visit in 2019 was historic.

President Dahal mentioned that many agreements were reached during the high-level visit and emphasized that all the agreements reached during the high-level visit should be implemented.

President Dahal mentioned that he visited China at the conclusion of the Beijing Olympics as the first Prime Minister of the Republic of Nepal and last year when he was also the Prime Minister. We are determined that all those agreements should be implemented.' 

In spite of some ups and downs in Nepal's internal politics, President Dahal mentioned that he is committed to implementing the agreements made between the two countries during his time and said that he believes that China will also remain committed to it.

He stressed that even though the geographical location between China and Nepal is unfavorable, the two countries should use the highest level of science and technology to build infrastructure. He said that Nepal wants the Chinese government's support in various fields such as effective operation of border crossings, advancement of railway construction, effective air service, education, health etc.

Central member of the Chinese Communist Party and Secretary of Qinghai Province, Chen Gang, who led the Chinese delegation, said that the friendship between the two countries should be further increased. Visiting Nepal for the first time, he said that since China is in the stage of new development, Nepal can also benefit from Chinese development.

Noting that China is developing relations based on coexistence with other countries, Secretary Chen said that he will not interfere in the internal affairs of any country, but will give importance to the relationship between parties. Mentioning that the main reason for China's development is the Chinese Communist Party, he said that the Chinese people's trust is increasing because any leader of his party will take action when they make mistakes, including corruption.  In the

meeting, Chinese ambassador to Nepal Chen Song and other leaders participated in the senior vice president of the Maoist center, Narayakanaji Shrestha, vice president Pampha Bhusal, deputy general secretary Janardan Sharma and Shakti Bahadur Basnet.
