The Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division has released a special weather bulletin for this year's Dasai today. In the bulletin, it is said that there will be partial to normal rain in the hilly areas of Koshi, Madhes and Gandaki provinces.

According to the bulletin, it is said that there will be partial to normal rain in the hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces including Koshi and Madhes provinces on the days of Saptami (24th), Ashtami/Navami (25th) and Dashami (26th) of Dasain this year.  The

department has estimated that there will be a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi and Madhes provinces and one or two places in the hilly areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. The department said that the weather will be mostly clear in the rest of the land. Meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane informed that there is a possibility that the maximum and minimum temperature will drop slightly below the Sardar rate in most of those days. He said that there is no possibility of heavy rain. 

It is requested to see the "website" of the division as the information related to it will be updated in the three-day weather forecast issued by the weather forecast division. This year's monsoon has left the entire territory of Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces including Kathmandu valley since yesterday Tuesday. According to the department, the monsoon has also withdrawn from the western part of Wagmati province and few places in the western part of Madhes province. At present, the influence of monsoon air remains in the eastern parts of Madhes and Bagmati provinces including Koshi province. 

Monsoon started in Nepal from October 20th. This year's monsoon entered on 28th of May.
