The team of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport inspected the main part of the BP highway which was damaged by flood and erosion. Officials of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport inspected the highway, which was damaged by the flood a few days ago.

A team including Ministry Secretary Keshav Kumar Sharma, Director General of Roads Department Ramhari Pokharel, Head of Federal Road Inspection and Monitoring Office Kathmandu Shubraj Neupane and Dharmendra Kumar Jha of Nepali Army's Directorate of Development and Construction conducted an aerial inspection up to Khurkot bridge. 

Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Devendra Dahal and Defense Minister Manveer Rai discussed the issue of cooperation between the two ministries to speed up road repair and reconstruction, and a team of secretaries and technicians inspected the damaged area.

The flood has caused great damage to the highway and now the team has returned after the inspection to mobilize more resources, technology and manpower to speed up the repair and reconstruction.
