Prime Minister's Chief Adviser Bishnu Prasad Rimal has said that the visit of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who came to America leading the Nepalese delegation to the 79th General Assembly and Summit of the Future, was successful and fruitful.

After Prime Minister Oli addressed the General Assembly on Friday night, Rimal said, 'The Prime Minister's visit was successful and fruitful in a short time.' He also mentioned that it was addressed effectively.

He said that this time, as the president of less developed countries, Nepal's Prime Minister Oli conducted a session as well as addressed.

Rimal said that important bilateral meetings have also been held on the sidelines this time in New York since the opening of the address and session. He clarified that the sideline meeting with Nepal's two neighbors, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India and Foreign Minister Wang Yi of China, was important.

In addition, Rimal said that the meetings with the heads of government including Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahwaz Sharif, Bangladesh's chief political advisor Yunus Mohammad Yunus and other meetings were also important.

He also informed that there was a discussion about how to advance the South Asian Regional Cooperation Organization (SAARC). Other countries had their own geopolitical reasons. But since we are the president and do not get involved in disputes with other countries, we only talked about SAARC," he said.

Rimal made it clear that the Prime Minister also gave a strong presentation on climate change. He said, "We don't emit more carbon." This became a technical matter . The Prime Minister said that we have to share the mistakes we have not made in the climate.' He mentioned that the Prime Minister has repeatedly emphasized that all problems should be resolved through dialogue.

"Engaging in diplomacy and dialogue does not mean we remain neutral". But we are in disarray . "Nepal calls right to right and wrong to wrong," said chief advisor Rimal.

He mentioned that the transitional justice law was enacted in Nepal in 18 years after the comprehensive peace agreement and that law was focused on the victims. He also made it clear that Nepal's conflict to transitional justice can become an exemplary situation for the world.

Rimal informed that Secretary General Antonio Guterres mentioned in the meeting with Prime Minister Oli that the world should understand that Nepal is balanced between powerful neighboring countries. He said, "Secretary-general praised the way in which the transitional justice in Nepal has been advanced."
