Appeal of Congress not to affect Nepali students and citizens in Bangladesh

The Nepali Congress has appealed to the government to take precautions so that Nepali students and citizens in Bangladesh are not affected.

The meeting of the central working committee held at the central office in Sanepa on Wednesday reviewed the recent developments in Bangladesh and expressed confidence that peace will be established according to the sentiments of the citizens there and the democratic process will proceed smoothly. It has also expressed the belief that more vigilance will be maintained. After the

meeting, Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel said in a statement, 'Regarding recent developments in Bangladesh, the Nepali Congress believes that peace will be established there soon and the democratic process will proceed smoothly according to the sentiments of the Bangladeshi citizens. The meeting has taken the belief that the Nepalese government will take more vigilance so that Nepali students and other Nepali citizens are not affected by this incident.'
