General Secretary of CPN (Maoist Center) Dev Gurung has said that the problem that appeared in the cooperative system is a product of financial monopoly capitalism. Addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Saturday, he said that in order to solve the problems of cooperatives, it is necessary to reform the economic and political sectors in a ruthless manner.

 General Secretary Gurung said that cooperative problems cannot be solved only by minor reforms. He emphasized that it is necessary to build national industrial capital to solve the problems of cooperatives.

He said,  'The problems and crises that have appeared in the cooperative system today are the product of financial monopoly capitalism. In order to transform and improve it, it cannot be said that it can be improved only by minor reforms in the economic and political sectors. What  If necessary, it is necessary to build national industrial capital. All resources and means should be made production-oriented by focusing on commodity production, industrial production, agricultural production. How to take industrial self-sufficiency? How to take to agricultural production? We have to go through this process. Only by doing so, there is a possibility of improvement, otherwise, improvement will not be possible in the current situation.
