World famous climber Kamirita Sherpa has managed to step on the summit of Mount Everest for the 30th time. He reached the summit of Everest at 7:49 am on Wednesday morning.

The Sherpas were on their way up from the base camp on Monday morning. In the 71-year history of successful ascents, Kamirita is the only climber in the world to have climbed Mt. Last Sunday (30th of Baisakh), he successfully climbed Mount Everest for the 29th time. 

While talking to Tasi Lakpa Sherpa, the founder and CEO of Fortin Peaks Expedition at the base camp, Kamirita said that he managed to reach the peak for the 30th time. With the success of this climb, Kamirita has become the record climber who has reached the highest snow peak in the world the most number of times. 

Kamirita, who is also known as 'Everest Man' around the world, broke the record of climbing Everest for the 28th time in the spring of last year, and returned to the base camp after successfully climbing the peak of Everest for the 29th time at 7:25 am Nepali time on May 30th.

Before this, he has climbed Mount Everest twice in the same season for 5 years. This is his sixth ascent in two ascents in the same season. 

Kamirita Sherpa says that he is not trying to break a record on Mt. Everest, but because his profession is connected with mountain climbing, the 'climbing record' has been maintained. He has reached 44 times in other 8000 high mountains including Everest.
