The Supreme Court has issued a short-term interim order on a petition filed by Janata Samajwadi Party, President Upendra Yadav regarding the division of Nepal.

The Supreme Court Justice Vinod Sharma's bench has issued a short-term interim order on Wednesday to keep the decision made by the Election Commission on 24th Baisakh and the activities based on it, wherever they are. Both sides have been called on May 8 for further discussion. 

After the controversy within the party, leader Ashok Rai has registered a party called Jaspa with the Election Commission.
